Terms of Service
Version 1.0 · Effective 2 August 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Future Me application, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). Please read them before creating an account or using the Service.
1. Who operates Future Me
Future Me is currently operated by an individual developer based in Poland, European Union (the “Operator”, “Future Me”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
Contact email: futuremesystem@gmail.com
Because the Service is at an early stage, the Operator’s legal or commercial form may change. If that happens, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated before the new entity assumes responsibility for the Service.
2. Acceptance of these Terms
By creating an account, selecting the acceptance checkbox, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.
You must be at least 16 years old to use Future Me. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 16 and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If the law applicable to you requires a higher age or parental authorization, you may use the Service only when that requirement has been satisfied.
3. What Future Me provides
Future Me is a personal finance organization and planning tool. Depending on the features available to your account, it may help you record, organize, review, and plan information such as:
- accounts and balances;
- income, expenses, transfers, savings, and debt payments;
- budgets and spending categories;
- financial goals and progress;
- debts and repayment scenarios;
- personal preferences such as currency and display settings.
The Service does not connect to your bank unless a separate integration is expressly introduced. Information shown in Future Me is generally based on data you provide and calculations performed from that data.
4. No financial or professional advice
Future Me is provided for information, organization, and planning purposes only. It does not provide financial, investment, credit, tax, legal, accounting, insurance, or other regulated professional advice.
Budgets, projections, repayment dates, savings estimates, insights, and similar outputs are estimates. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or affected by assumptions, rounding, missing transactions, changing interest rates, fees, taxes, exchange rates, lender rules, or other factors outside the Service.
You are solely responsible for checking information before acting on it and for obtaining independent professional advice where appropriate. Nothing in the Service is an offer, recommendation, guarantee, or promise of a particular financial outcome.
5. Your account
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless caused by a failure of the Service that is attributable to us.
You must notify us promptly at futuremesystem@gmail.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. We may require reasonable verification before assisting with an account-related request.
One person should not use another person’s account without permission. You may not create accounts using misleading information, impersonate another person, or attempt to bypass account, security, or usage restrictions.
6. Your data and content
You retain ownership of the information you enter into Future Me (“User Data”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to host, store, copy, process, transmit, and display User Data only as necessary to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the Service, comply with law, and provide support requested by you.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to enter and process any information you add to the Service. You should avoid entering information about other people unless you have a lawful reason and their permission where required.
Our handling of personal data is described in the Future Me Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy forms part of the information provided to you when you use the Service but does not reduce any rights you have under applicable data protection law.
7. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful personal purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- access or attempt to access another user’s data or account;
- probe, scan, test, bypass, or interfere with security or authentication measures;
- reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, copy, or extract the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use automated systems to create accounts or send excessive requests;
- upload malware or use the Service to transmit unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive material;
- use the Service in a way that disrupts, overloads, damages, or impairs it;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission;
- misrepresent your relationship with Future Me or use its branding without authorization.
We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, infrastructure, legal compliance, or the integrity of the Service.
8. Availability and changes
Future Me is an early-stage service. Features may be added, modified, limited, suspended, or removed. We aim to provide a reliable Service but do not promise uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available access.
Maintenance, security incidents, third-party failures, internet outages, migrations, or other events may temporarily affect access. Where reasonably possible, we will try to communicate material planned interruptions or changes.
We may discontinue the Service. If practical and legally required, we will provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data before discontinuation.
9. Free and paid features
Future Me may be offered for free, through paid subscriptions, as a one-time purchase, or through a combination of free and paid features. Pricing has not yet been finalized.
Before any paid plan or purchase applies, you will be shown the price, billing period, included features, renewal terms, taxes where applicable, cancellation method, and any other information required by law. A payment does not become due merely because these Terms refer to possible paid features.
If paid services are introduced, additional payment or subscription terms may apply. Those additional terms will be presented before purchase and will form part of your agreement with us.
10. Consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited. If you are a consumer in the European Union or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those laws continue to apply.
Where paid digital services are introduced, information about withdrawal rights, conformity, remedies, cancellations, and refunds will be provided as required by applicable law before purchase. Any clause in these Terms that conflicts with mandatory consumer law will apply only to the maximum extent legally permitted.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, interface, text, graphics, branding, structure, and non-user content, is owned by or licensed to the Operator and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Subject to these Terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. No ownership rights in the Service are transferred to you.
Feedback you voluntarily provide may be used to improve the Service without payment or obligation to you, provided that we do not publicly identify you without permission.
12. Third-party services
Future Me relies on third-party infrastructure and services, including Supabase for authentication and database services and Vercel for hosting and delivery. Their availability, security, and performance may affect the Service.
Links or references to third-party websites or services do not mean that we control or endorse them. Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.
13. Security and backups
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect the Service and User Data. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted operation, or that data will never be lost or corrupted.
You should keep independent copies of information that is important to you. Export tools may be made available, but they do not replace your own responsibility to maintain records needed for financial, tax, legal, or other purposes.
14. Account suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. Where available, you may delete your account through the Service. You may also contact futuremesystem@gmail.com for assistance.
We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, create a security risk, misuse the Service, violate law, or if continued provision becomes technically or legally impracticable. Where appropriate, we will try to provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue, unless immediate action is necessary.
After account deletion or termination, your right to use the Service ends. Data deletion and retention are handled as described in the Privacy Policy and subject to legal obligations, security requirements, and backup retention cycles.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will meet every requirement, that calculations will always be correct, or that defects will always be fixed immediately.
We do not guarantee financial savings, debt reduction, improved creditworthiness, investment returns, budget adherence, or any other outcome. Your results depend on your data, decisions, circumstances, and factors outside our control.
This section does not affect mandatory statutory warranties or consumer rights that apply to you.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, opportunities, goodwill, or data arising from use of the Service.
We are not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate or incomplete User Data, reliance on estimates, decisions made using the Service, third-party systems, unauthorized access caused by your failure to protect credentials, or events beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability for intentional misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or mandatory consumer rights.
If a monetary limitation is legally permitted and a paid service applies, our total aggregate liability relating to that paid service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. For a free Service, liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law. This limitation does not override mandatory consumer protection rules.
17. Complaints and support
Questions, technical issues, and complaints may be sent to futuremesystem@gmail.com. Please include enough information for us to understand the issue, but do not email passwords or unnecessary sensitive financial information.
We will aim to acknowledge and address complaints within a reasonable period. Any legally required complaint procedure or response deadline applicable to a paid consumer service will take precedence.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, pricing, legal requirements, security practices, or business arrangements. The updated version will show a new effective date.
For material changes, we will provide notice through the Service, by email, or by another reasonable method before the changes take effect where required. If you do not agree to material updated Terms, you may stop using and delete your account. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where legally permitted.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence.
We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve a dispute informally. Any dispute may be brought before the courts having jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms requires an EU consumer to bring proceedings exclusively in Poland where consumer law provides otherwise.
20. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the affected provision will apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your account or rights under these Terms without our permission. We may transfer operation of the Service and these Terms to a successor or legal entity, subject to applicable law and appropriate notice.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented for specific paid features, constitute the agreement governing your use of Future Me.
